Markilux 620 Awning Installation in Haslemere

The brief was to create light reduction for 2x upstairs bedrooms.

Having already fitted out the entire house with internal Full cassette blackout blinds, due to the inward-opening doors combined with limited internal space and the practical internal design of the room, we suggested an external solution.

External window roller blinds are often used for reducing solar gain and can offer a fantastic solution for keeping the heat at bay, however, on occasion we can use external roller shades for other purpose.

The Markilux 620 in one of several systems we can offer, however, to keep within budgets we opted for this gravity operated track system rather than over specifying its use.

Although this is not a blackout fabric or sold as one, the effect proved perfect for this scenario and was a clear winner.
