Markilux 8800
The Markilux 8800 is a popular retractable awning that’s a great fit for larger roof areas. Perfect for conservatories or angled glass canopies, the adaptable front panel is the most effective way to minimise heat in your conservatory, orangery or glass-roofed area. The Markilux 8800 features a powder-coated aluminium frame and is an effective tool in preventing heat in your home, keeping the interior cool and comfortable at all times.
A fantastic awning system for larger areas, the 8800 can produce up to 7m shading as a single unit or up to 21m when used as a coupled unit. Boasting an award-winning design, the rounded cassette and angular guide track work seamlessly with one another to create a contemporary design that’s easy to operate.
A design award winner, the 8800 awning is a testament to Markilux’s great attention to detail and impeccable design expertise. Areas up to 36m2 are shaded with a single cloth and the gas pressure springs ensure that the fabric always remains taught and tensioned, as well as providing protection against strong winds (Beaufort 6). The optional Tracfix version of the 8800 also eliminates any gaps between the fabric and tracks, should you want a more seamless look.
