Markilux 1600 Awnings with Somfy iO Electric Motor in Coulsdon, CR5
The brief for this project in Coulsdon was to create a comfortable balcony space that complemented the modern décor of the apartment while solving the issue of strong, low sun entering the main living area. Our solution was to install a Markilux 1600 awning across the full width of the balcony, combined with a vertical Shadeplus system to block low sunlight while maintaining outward visibility.
The result is a stylish, practical balcony area that the client can now enjoy throughout the day.
