Fabric Replacement Awnings FAQ
-
How do I replace awning fabric?
-
Replacing the awning fabric involves a few steps. First, remove the old fabric from the awning frame, taking care to note how it was attached. Then, measure the length, width, and projection of the awning to ensure that the replacement fabric is the correct size. Next, attach the new fabric to the awning frame, following the manufacturer’s instructions and using any necessary hardware. Finally, test the awning to ensure that it operates smoothly and that the new fabric is securely attached.
It’s important to take your time and follow the instructions carefully to ensure that the replacement fabric is installed properly and functions as intended. To avoid potentially damaging your awning and the replacement fabric, it’s worth getting in touch with a member of our team for advice or to book an installation.

Pergola awning Installation in Reading

Pergola Installation in Purley, Surrey
Our client, Mr W, contacted Aquarius Blinds looking for coverage for the terrace area at his house in Purley, Surrey.
The project brief only really detailed the problem the client had. In addition to this, the fitting area was a single-story part of the house and a single awning (without special spreader support plates) would have also caused a structural problem. The area was approximately 8 meters by 5 meters with York flagstone paving.

Our client wanted to create a comfort zone and a peaceful area out of the elements of the sun and rain. The brief with this project was very simple, manufactured within a few weeks and fitted in 2 ½ hours, creating an area to enjoy time in the garden.
