The brief was to create a living area that serves for both daytime sun and rain protection, as well as an evening area for entertaining.
The main criteria were bringing all elements together, including colour matching the awning and heater frame with the door colour and also a fabric that would work to complement the area and colours available.
We worked on the system first, offering our MX3 system. This robust system is built to withstand class 2, allowing use during inclement weather, while the unit has a wind sensor to assist with protecting from strong winds.
The colours discussed needed to bring the brightness down without being too dark and creating heat absorption, and something that was not too heavy. We concluded that our Sunvas 307 05 was the perfect balance to bring protection as well as colours together and enhance the area.
The project was complemented by 2 of our 2.5Kw heating elements that have the facility to dim down by equal thirds at one third, two thirds or full via the handheld remote control. These were also colour-matched to the door and awning colour.
Following the completed installation, we have created a beautiful area that looks like it was always there. Beautiful, tranquil and stunning.
