Types of Awning Control
When choosing an awning, consider not only design and size but also operation. You can opt for manual control with a winding handle or a motorised option with a remote control. Optional sensors for sun, wind, and rain allow weather-dependent adjustments. For added convenience, smart home integration lets you control your awning remotely via your smartphone or tablet, perfect for when you’re away or forget to adjust it before the weather changes.
Winding Handle
Manually operated awnings are easy to use. Insert the crank handle and turn it to extend or retract.
Radio Control
Effortless well-being. Control awnings, shades, lights, and heating with a Markilux remote.
Automatic Awning Control
The smart system automatically adjusts the awning based on weather conditions like sun, rain, and wind.
Awnings with Radiant Heater
An infrared heater, attachable to an awning or sun protection system, ensures warmth and comfort outdoors. Markilux infrared heaters deliver efficient, low-glare infrared heat for a cosy atmosphere, perfect for gardens, patios, balconies, and awnings. They are energy-saving, effective, and offer warmth at the push of a button.
Design
A colour combination of frame colour, awning cover, and front panel colour has a major influence on the visual appearance of the MX4. Eight dedicated front panel colours — from classic light ivory to bold carmine red and jet black — allow the awning to make a clear design statement that complements any architecture.
