Creating a comfortable entertaining area is always a treasured thing within the home and sometimes it is as simple as this project.

When we were asked to create a comfort corner for our clients in Chislehurst, Kent a smile came to our face, as sometimes our job is very simple.

Our customer explained, “we want an area where we can not only sit during the day but also an area where when we have friends over can still stay outside into the evening when entertaining or even if just us and the children.”

We proposed our Markilux 990 awning. Our most popular system due to its modern look, fully enclosed housing and simplicity to use. This combined with our infra-red heater gives a great ambiance at almost any time of day or night, for entertaining or a simple snuggle up before bedtime.

As the property was ultra-modern, the colour choices were selected to mirror the house style in a light Grey Sunsilk fabric and an Anthracite frame finish for the awning housing. A little over 3 weeks later the installation was completed in a few hours and totally transformed an area that would normally have been vacated around teatime.
